Change your Android Boot Animations in most easiest way

Android Boot Animations

Bootscreen sucks your time or it is not upto your mark or may be if you want to change it and you are unable to do that because you get hooked into the system files related to it.Yeah I too find that confusing when I tried to do that. I too tried an app for Boot animation change but it was just a crap and made my tablet hang out. What I wanted was a nice way to change and a much easy one so that I can have a share for that and I found it.

Before getting you through the way I would like to mention that for these steps to apply, you will first need to root your device otherwise if you are going to try a Boot Animation changer than it will create more problem for you as it happened with me too some time before.

For rooting your device you can go to http://xda-developers.com/ and check out for the root method that best suits your device and if than too you are facing problem in rooting your device than do let us know by your comments and views so that we can help you out.

There are two methods to do this boot animation change for your Android device(I have a description for windows users too at the last of this post and that too most simple). One is by using my way to do that and the other one is to get your device connected with your SDK installed PC and change your boot animation file but that some of the users may find difficult. So here is my way..

What you first need to have on your rooted device is a free app from market. android naming ROM TOOLBOX and get it installed on your phone or tablet. This app consists of many features like ROM manager, App manager, Root file browser, scripter, ad blocker and many more but I would like to restrict my post to Boot animation change only. Under this app you will get about 100+ boot animation from which you can choose the one you like to have but if you are not interested in them too than I have way out for that too. If you want other animations other than the provided one than do read the not below.

Download ROM TOOLBOX

{NOTE: Different devices have different location to store there animations (I will concentrate over bootanimation.zip). For example the most common one is /system/media/.Some have it in >system>customize>resource and some also into >data>local. Do find your location. and continue}

After the installation of this application is done free of cost go to the scripter and there you will find the option to enable/disable your boot animation and there only you will find the option to install boot animations. Choose from the Boot animations and select the one you prefer the most and have it on your Droid and if you don’t like that than follow some more steps.

Go to the file browser and find the folder where your Boot animation is located and replace it with the one of your choice and REBOOT and you are done. Wasn’t that most easiest one.

Tips to Convert Windows Phone to Android

Windows Phone to Android

What to do if you dont want to but a new Android phone and just want to have it installed in your phone and having its all features get into your phone with paying a single cent for that and that is possible with the help of this single click emulator which is not a theme change etc, it is full package of all Google SDK files and fully customized to be used on Windows.

This emulator was developed by the Haseeb, a member at XDA-Developer and he has customized and packages all the SDK files to get them run on a single click to get the best for the users. When I used it I found wow! a new Android phone was there in front of me to use.

I’m telling the drawbacks of this emulator too here, when I used..I think that they can also be changed by some tricks but some features which were missing are:

  • 1st: The phone was working in an Airplane mode.
  • 2nd: I was unable to use browser as if there was no internet connection.
  • 3rd: I too felt the emulator working a little slow may be it can be due to too many processes running on my windows phone but that can be resolved with a good processor.

So what to do to get this running on your phone or PC. It is just a matter of a click. From the link given below download the package and it will be consisted of two files one with boot manager and other without it. You can you any of them and I even suggest all the geeks to have it more explored by further customization and post it here as a comment so that we can get the best of it. Enjoy your new phone and Do Share your Experience.
